This week was good for me. I was able to do alot of observing. I got the opportunity to observe. This week I held back from responding in the discussion. I did observe. I did participate when it was my time to facility. I will submit my observations that I have been noting. I am usually very shy, so the lurking position did fit me. I am going to send you an email today after I post my observations. It want take me long, I just have to cut and past my responses.

This week was so different; I don't even know how to explain it. I will say that I have never experienced anything like this. It was so funny because I checked in with the group page before I got a clear understanding of the assignment and I was shocked. I could not believe what was going on. My first thoughts were, " I need to get in another group. These people are crazy." After reading the assignment and the reading again, it made sense to me. I have to say that this assignment was fun and the different personas were funny.
One lesson I did learn this week- make sure you read the assignments and reading before you try to jump into the discussions. :lol:

This was a very interesting unit. This unit gave me an understanding of what needs to take place in order to have good class participation in an online class. It is very important that the facilitator is very visual in the "conversation" of the class.
I did like the person I was paired with to do my group project. I am surprise to say but we worked great together. We communicated mostly by email in the beginning until realized that the instructor would not realize that we were working as a group so we switched to our group site. We tried to past our emails in the group site but were not sure if we posted them all.
The group assignment did allow me to "meet" one of my classmates and communicate about our shared ties with Kumon Math and Reading.
Now that I am able to use the blog and it is working for me, I don't feel so overwhelmed and behind in the class.

This week has been very challenging to me. But to come to think about it, the first week is always difficult for me. It takes a while for me to set my time schedule so that I can cover work, part-time job, family and school. I think I have every thing together now. I also have to take time to adjust to the set up of the class and the teaching style.
I found myself getting frustrated when I was unable to access the swiki site, but I was able to learn about wikis from a website that classmate found. After reading the information on the wikis site, I had several question that I posted on the discussion board.
